Job Description
Position: Identity Access Management Manager
Minimum Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Certification in Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) highly desired.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in information technology (IT) with progressive responsibility, including at least 3 years in identity and access management (IAM) operations and engineering.
- Strong understanding of identity management principles, including directory schema, replication technologies, authentication technologies, and application development.
- Familiarity with Java, Python, PowerShell, and SQL.
- Proficient in data analysis using Excel and Access.
- Customer-oriented with proven ability to deliver IT services in a complex environment.
Essential Duties:
- Manage and develop the IAM staff responsible for day-to-day IAM functions, operational and project obligations, and assignments.
- Lead day-to-day IAM support activities, including identity onboarding and offboarding, user access requests, user access reviews, customer service issues, escalations, and incident handling.
- Understand enterprise business and IT management processes to achieve strategic objectives. Interact with key departments and leaders to identify opportunities to develop and mature IAM operations.
- Co-lead the design, planning, testing, and execution of IAM process improvements and solutions.
- Manage and monitor the effectiveness of third-party vendors and service providers responsible for IAM system configuration and development.
- Champion and align IAM processes across the organization, developing and documenting standards for organizational use. Collaborate with internal marketing and communication resources to promote IAM initiatives.
- Ensure IAM services comply with information security policies, standards, and procedures. Initiate user access reviews to ensure compliance with access policies.
- Oversee the operational integrity of IAM tools, systems, and infrastructure, including technical or process changes that could impact IAM services.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Director of Information Security.
Salary: $140,000 - $168,000 base.
