Job Description
Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Location:Â Zeeland, MI.
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help ensure the smooth operation of our facility. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills in equipment maintenance will directly contribute to the company’s success.
Sign-on Bonus: Up to $5,000
Shifts Available: Both Day and Night shifts
Pay Rate: $24 to $32 per hour, based on experience (paid weekly)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure equipment operates safely and effectively.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
- Troubleshoot and conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
- Apply technical knowledge to minimize downtime due to equipment issues.
- Collaborate with plant personnel to meet production and individual goals.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- Education/Experience: Minimum 1 year of industrial maintenance experience or relevant industrial maintenance education (diploma or technical school enrollment in lieu of experience).
- Computer Skills: Basic skills required to log information, process work orders, and complete documentation. Must be able to learn the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Communication & Math Skills: Must communicate effectively and demonstrate proficiency in basic math, including percentages, fractions, and measurements.
Special Skills:
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally and up to 20 lbs. frequently.
- Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods (up to 12 hours per day).
- Must be able to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and perform overhead tasks.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures, from -25°F to over 100°F.
