Job Title: Project Manager

Job Duties:
  • Develops Project Charter, gathers the scope and obtains sign-off from stakeholders.
  • Collaborates closely with technical teams and subject matter experts to define requirements and bridges the gap between technical teams and the business.
  • Translates technical specifications into detailed requirements.
  • Facilitates design discussions with technical subject matter experts and obtains architecture review board approvals.
  • Understands physical IT infrastructure (cabling, telecom spaces, LAN/WAN connectivity, IT integration of medical equipment, end-user devices planning and deployment).
  • Recognizes the interdependencies between construction activities and different IT systems and solutions.
  • Identifies and engages different stakeholders within internal IT teams during the design and implementation of construction projects (new clinic builds).
  • Understands discussions during OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) coordination meetings and assesses the impact of other trades on IT infrastructure.
  • Coordinates with other trades during the design and implementation of IT infrastructure.
  • Manages multiple IT infrastructure projects during construction.
  • Develops detailed project organization charts and roles/responsibilities matrices.
  • Creates the project budget, performs analysis on new projects, manages project budgets including capital and operating expenses, and forecasts spending regularly.
  • Builds project work breakdown structures and schedules.
  • Manages project risks, issues, decisions, action items, dependencies, and change requests.
  • Maintains up-to-date project documentation in the PMO (Project Management Office) departmental repository and in Service Now.
  • Adheres to the PMO defined processes, methodologies, and minimum required documentation.
  • Performs meeting management, communicates progress/status and the health of the projects, including managing the budgets and reporting on it.
  • Utilizes departmental templates as intended and instructed.
  • Serves as the primary liaison for assigned projects.
  • Fosters positive relationships with project team members and stakeholders.
  • Performs any other Project Manager duties as assigned by the Portfolio Manager and PMO Director in addition to the above as required by the PMO department.

Required Qualifications:
  • PMP certification
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in leading enterprise-wide projects
  • Experience in healthcare organizations and clinic builds
  • Experience in managing project budgets, including OpEx and CapEx
  • Experience in at least one PPM (Project Portfolio Management) tool, such as Service Now ITBM, Clarity, Planview, etc.
  • Ability to travel throughout Southern California hospital and clinic locations as needed

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies
  • RCDD certification

Salary: $70.00 - $83.00 per hour
