Job Description
Position Overview: ServiceNow Solution Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and administration of ITSM system.
- Management of 3rd party ServiceNow support roles and responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain application dependencies, workflows, integrations, and processes.
- Build, test, and apply enhancements and upgrades within Development, Test, and Production environments.
- Maintain system documentation, logs, and work instructions.
- Develop and administer reporting services and system integrations.
- Create, analyze, and distribute reporting, data, and information regarding operational performance.
- Research and analyze data to identify improvements or new requirements for business processes.
- General support, administration, maintenance, and upgrade of ServiceNow platform and associated applications.
- Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications.
- Develop systems integrations and process automation.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of Delivery Services processes.
- Create target state vision through designs, standards, and patterns.
- Assess technical debt for criticality and scope.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM.
- Experience with API integrations (a plus).
- Ability to create, breakdown, and improve complicated workflows.
- Ability to report and analyze large data sets.
- Demonstrated ability to administer and troubleshoot applications/systems.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Ability to train users and host department training on systems and applications.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Deep understanding of ITIL Framework.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and customer-centric attitude.
- Proven team player and team builder.
- Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
Education/Experience:
- 5+ years of ServiceNow Development, Design, or Implementation experience.
- 3+ years of experience administering ITSM Systems, including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge Management, along with CMDB.
Required Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
Rate: $80/hr
