Architect, Infrastructure & Operations 


Qualifications:
• Minimum 10+ years hands-on experience working with end users to define and continuously improve Infrastructure services: Cloud, Compute, Storage, Database and Networks, End User Computing
• Experience working with architecture methodologies such as Zachman and TOGAF
• Strong understanding of product financials, creating and managing budgets, including headcount
• Ability to work with other functions to onboard new technologies: legal, compliance, and security
• Bachelor / Master’ s in computer science or an Engineering discipline
Functional Competencies:
• Document user requirements and benefits, create a business case for new initiatives
• Define technology strategy and roadmaps working across a diverse group of subject matter experts
• Work in a matrixed environment, influence subject matter experts and end users
• Strong knowledge of various Infrastructure systems: UC, Collaboration, Cloud, Compute, Networks
• Creating user guides, user communications and driving improved customer satisfaction
• Vendor management and negotiating contracts

Key Responsibilities:
• Meet with users to understand requirements and issues and create plans to improve service quality
• Develop a customer satisfaction plan to incorporate feedback from surveys, incidents, and user interviews
• Create a marketing and communications plan for the Infrastructure team. Manage all communications
• Create user documentation – quick reference guides, user guides, service catalog
• Establish governance for product introduction and the service catalog
• Support ongoing initiatives to streamline and automate user request and provisioning workflows
• Train users on self-service tools and functional capabilities
• Develop a set of metrics to measure adoption and user satisfaction of technology tools and service
• Manage the infrastructure financial budget working with the finance team
• Manage headcount, open requisitions, and overall hiring plans
• Create an Infrastructure technology architecture and work with teams to ensure new products and changes to products adhere
