Sr Business Analyst, TV Distribution

Responsibilities include:
  • Collect, review, analyze, manage, system and user requirements from business users into user stories
  • Document detailed functional & data business requirements, process flows, use cases, & information needs
  • Work with the Dev team to clarify functional requirements
  • Primary liaison to QA team, create test scenarios and perform UAT
  • Ensures that delivery of project requirements meets the requirements defined by the business customer

Qualifications and/or Experience Required
  • Technology background
  • Strong functional specifications documentation skills a must
  • Evidence of business acumen to communicate effectively with business and IT in day-to-day operations and delivery of IT services
  • Knowledge of cross functional understanding of core line of business processes and value chain services (i.e. Title & Rights, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Distribution, Finance) a plus
  • Strong experience gathering requirements for complex, multi-phased business application development efforts, enhancements or projects
  • Strong level of business process and data experience, along with knowledge of one or many Line of Business or Value Chain domains.
  • Interest and ability to adapt to an agile way of working
  • Experience operating in an agile environment is a plus
  • Strong functional specifications and user requirements skills a must
  • Prior experience in the Entertainment Industry, preferably in Television, Home Entertainment, or Film is a huge plus
  • Bachelor’ s degree in a related field, Masters Degree/MBA a plus
