Position Overview: 

Our client is looking for a IT leader to oversee all of the company’ s Wholesale Business Applications in their  Los Angeles, CA office. The selected candidate’ s responsibilities for the role include: 
  • Stabilize current ERP (Microsoft Dynamics AX), prepare for the deployment of the future Fast Retailing global system based on SAP FMS
  • Collaborate with line of business leaders to identify, define and deploy process optimization and reduce inefficiencies in all areas
  • Ensure that all users (US & UK) are properly supported by the local resources and the Fast Retailing US and EU IT Team resources
  • Ensure that all systems are always up and running and able to support business operations
  • Review and follow up weekly service desk tickets and incidents reports for the company
  • Build the  IT Roadmap, in collaboration with the company management and the company’ s Fast Retailing Global IT team
  • Manage relationships with vendors, including negotiating rates and contracts as well as development of their respective areas
  • Formal weekly activity reports to key stakeholders
  • Ensure that all wholesale business systems and processes are documented and that the documentation is maintained
  • Improve user self-sufficiency: knowledge base, training sessions
  • Assist Fast Retailing and executives as needed on various projects

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree in Business Management, Finance, or equivalent experience may be considered
  • 8-10 years of minimum progressive experience in IT function in a manufacturing industry (wholesale apparel industry is preferred)
  • Leadership, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to provide direction to business users at all levels of the organization
  • Project and budget management skills
  • Ability to manage several projects at the same time and assess priorities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, hands on, operational
  • Ability to work and coordinate external vendors

Technical Skills:
  • Understanding of ERP, PLM, Supply Chain, Warehouse management systems and Finance Systems
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX or SAP FMS would be a plus
  • Understanding of implementing an ERP software application or similar business-critical application
  • Understanding of Retail systems and operations. Basic understanding of network and Networking equipment
  • Basic understanding of Systems Administration
