Position Summary

Our client is looking for a talented Hybris Front End Developer that is well versed in CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. The candidate selected for this role must be able to handle the following duties and responsibilities for the company:
  • Participates in gathering and organizing of business/user requirements and feasibility analysis
  • Participates in performing application design and review
  • Develops code that meets business/user requirements, IS quality standards and secure web development guidelines
  • Develops and conducts system/unit test plans including user acceptance test planning and execution
  • Participates in development of implementation schedules, system implementation planning and execution
  • Meets project objectives within specified time frame parameters and defined requirements
  • Ensures that project success criteria are met; performs day-to-day maintenance of production software systems
  • Creates technical/functional documentation
  • Actively evaluates and resolves daily business problems by performing independent analysis
  • Participates in on-call rotation supporting production systems and user trouble reports
  • Communicates task status/issues to IS management and project leaders
  • Participates in research and evaluation of appropriate software products being considered for acquisition
  • Keeps current with technology trends and their impact to the organization
  • Participates in Disaster Recovery testing to help ensure business continuance

Requirements for the Role
  • 5 to 7+ years of experience developing web-based responsive applications.
  • Extensive experience building rich client experiences (Web/Mobile and or desktop) from ground up with JavaScript, CSS and HTML.
  • Extensive knowledge of HTML5, dHTML, Stylesheets (CSS), JavaScript, JQuery and respective browser compatibility issues (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome).
  • Working knowledge/experience with JavaScript frameworks - Angular, React, or Vue.JS
  • Ability to hand-code, adhering to HTML standards, is a must
  • Proficiency with the latest versions of Photoshop CS, Visio, Microsoft Office. Flash MX is a plus
  • Comfortable working in a Linux environment, and working with source code control tools (such as Subversion/Git)
  • Good understanding of good SEO standards and practices
  • General understanding of SEM/SEO meta data tags is a plus
  • General exposure/experience with tagging for a web analytics solution, such as Tealium
  • General experience working with e-commerce systems development in a large, corporate environment is a plus
  • Experience in Working with client and offshore team to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Experience with Mobile app development
  • Experience using web templating engines
  • Experience working with RESTful JSON Web Services
  • Experience with SAP hybris
  • Bachelor' s degree (B.S. or B.A.) or equivalent experience in a web development related field

Highly Desirable
  • SAP Hybris 6.2.x experience
  • Knowledge of web analytics solutions (Omniture, Google analytics, Tealium)
  • Experience with SAP PI/PO
  • Working knowledge of Apache Solr search engine; tc Server or Apache Tomcat
  • Experience with eCommerce and payment processing
  • Strong in Object Oriented Design principles
  • Familiar with Object Relational Mapping frameworks (hibernate or toplink)
  • Responsive webpage design principles and have used libraries such as Foundation or Bootstrap
  • Familiar with JUnit and mocking libraries like Mockito or easymock
  • Experience with J2EE, Java and web applications (Spring all layers, Spring MVC, Velocity, jstl, jsp)
  • Experience with JavaScript, JQuery, json, ajax, REST web services.
  • Working knowledge of build tools such as Ant and Maven.

Minimum Experience Requirements
  • C - Requires Experience at an intermediate level (5-8 years)
  • BA/BS Preferred or equal experience.
