Job Overview:

The HR Functional / Operational Project Manager will lead/co-lead the implementation HR solutions for our client’ s company. This role will be a part of project leadership in partnership with key stakeholders such as Enterprise Information Systems (EIS), Payroll and other Human Resources teams. In addition, this role will project manage functional efforts for other planned solution implementations and/or upgrade efforts.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for HR Functional team project oversight, including, partnering closely with module subject matter experts to help gather, assess and track project deliverables
  • Develop plans to ensure all necessary preparation and execution tasks and dependencies are included
  • Work collaboratively with EIS, Payroll and other applicable internal stakeholders to complete the project stages, to ensure design, technical build, interface, conversions, testing, reporting and security requirements are managed and delivered per project timeline
  • Work with key stakeholders to manage the deployment of all aspects of the project assigned to Identify and mitigate potential risks for implementation
  • Ensure there are resources and skills within the projects. Assess needs and escalate, if needed
  • Operate as a full cross-functional member of the project team; supporting project leadership and other team members as directed
  • Provide cross-functional solution direction and guidance to all applicable areas of Human Resources
  • Involved in resolving conflicting design and testing decisions. Narrate business case scenarios, present to upper management and guide team on implementing the best solution through consensus building
  • Collaborate with key decision makers to build a strong long-term foundation for standard and sustainable Human Capital Management (HCM) processes
  • Motivate and act as a leader to guide and mentor all team members where needed
  • Create, distribute project communications, updates with all stakeholders in partnership with project leadership
  • Manage HR/functional related risks, partner with leadership to assess, track and resolve
  • Execution of the all assigned implementations in addition to all later phase solutions
  • A key member of the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team responsible for related change management, communication and training efforts

Requirements for the Role:
  • Minimum of two years, system implementation business architect/project management experience required
  • Oracle Fusion/Oracle Cloud ERP modules implementation experience is highly desired
  • Understanding of healthcare provider ERP / HCM domain needs and well versed with HR operational processes, policies and procedures desired
  • Strong ability to communicate complex and functionally challenging concepts
  • Third party vendor communication and interaction, partnership experience desired (i.e. implementation consulting support)
  • Experience as a functional expert or advisor for more than one application
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) strongly desired
  • Demonstrated ability to be a motivated self-starter and a leader for project members
