Identity and Access Management Analyst (IAM)


Position Overview

Analyzes and troubleshoots access-related issues and proactively updates procedure/process documentation and suggests and implements process improvements. This includes role and user account provisioning and deactivation, segregation of duties analysis and production support documentation. In a general sense, the Analyst is responsible for promptly updating access control records so that employees have only the access to our internal computing resources needed to perform their jobs.


Essential Responsibilities
  • Understands industry best practices for access administration activities (i.e. provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews, automation, etc.), authorization and authentication protocols and access governance
  • Good understanding of role based access controls
  • Participate   design review working directly with customers and business owners on the integration requirements including provisioning, de-provisioning and user lifecycle
  • Maintain and assess operational requirements and service issues for improvement opportunities
  • Assist in developing standards for identity and access management to meet business needs
  • Establish and refine procedures and other business processes to detect errors and inconsistencies in privileges
  • Performs other support activities in service of the mission of the Information Security organization
  • Furthers the company  culture and values
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Qualifications/Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience
  • 0-2+ years’ experience in Identity and Access Management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent skills in evaluating risk and communicating it in a fact-based manner
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced ability to communicate clearly and concisely (both written and verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills)
  • Ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels
  • Experience in access role development and maintenance and defining application level roles/groups and permissions to ensure secure authentication and authorization mechanisms are aligned with policies, standards and as appropriate, best practices
  • Experience with Cloud user administration, Active Directory and the user administration functions of a wide variety of multi-user services applications
  • Ability to learn and understand audit and compliance requirements applicable to the financial industry
