This position is responsible for the business analysis, requirements gathering, process mapping, coding, Oracle HRMS/Payroll configuration, testing, performance, documentation and ongoing support. You are the primary contact for HR and Payroll business units of our client' s company.
Partners with HR/Payroll business units to understand requirements, propose new processes, and help with day-to-day activities including recurring and year-end processes.
Primary support for Oracle Advanced Benefit and HR/Payroll applications.
Create and maintain OAB Rules, Fast Formulas, Forms and Reports.
Debugs production issues and resolve them quickly with permanent fixes.
Identifies areas for business process improvement and efficiencies; make recommendations to improve existing processes or system functionality.
Partners with internal and external functional and technology support providers to meet these responsibilities.
Maintains process flow, configuration, operations and user documentation.
Provides after-hours application support as required.
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in supporting Oracle Payroll/HCM including Advanced Benefits.
Prior experience as techno functional analyst responsible for the successful full lifecycle of Oracle R12 HR/Payroll Applications.
Well-versed in Oracle HR Benefits and Payroll tables; solid experience creating/updating benefits program/plan setups, life events, and security profiles.
Extensive hands-on experience writing Fast Formulas, HR/Payroll queries, ad hoc Reports, and creating Workflows.
Advanced knowledge and experience with elements, elements links, costing, accrual plans, OAB rules, and payroll reports, taxes.
Solid experience creating and maintaining Oracle forms, reports, SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripts.
Advanced skills in configuring and developing reports using XML Publisher.
Expertise in writing interfaces between HRMS and 3rd party systems.
Expertise in effective design, scope, development and implementations.
Excellent business knowledge, interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and strong written and communication skills.
Strong analytical skills to implement new business processes and design application enhancements.
Demonstrated track record of working independently to solve application problems using internal and external resources persisting until acceptable resolution.
Experience with Oracle API’ s and AOL objects required.
Experience creating support tickets and working with Oracle Technical Support.
