Job Overview:

We are seeking an IT Administrator to assist the IT Director with day-to-day technology issues in the firm.  The IT Administrator is responsible for the daily support of firm IT systems including: desktop, network, and phone support. This position reports to the Director of IT with the primary focus being customer service and the ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues for the company:

Software Used:
  • Imanage Worksite, PDQ products, Microsoft Office products, Active Directory, MDM

Specific Duties/Responsibilities:

Below is a list of responsibilities that our IT Administrator is responsible for on a regular basis:
  • Field incoming user requests
  • Provide support for office applications
  • Telephone/Voicemail system support – Identify and troubleshoot problems
  • Telephone moves and changes
  • Software documentation
  • Create, maintain, and deploy new computer images
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and parts as well as documentation of vendor activities
  • Assist IT Director with projects and day-to-day administration
  • Security system maintenance
  • VPN and Remote support
  • Document Management System administration and maintenance
  • Assist with documentation, tracking inventory, and other technology department administrative tasks
  • Provide User training for software and processes as well as onboarding new employees
  • Administrative tasks including: AD permissions, phone system move/changes, and AV conference support

Requirements for the Role:
  • Can triage incoming calls and emails and communicate accordingly. 
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, diplomacy, and sound judgment
  • Ability to diagnose and solve complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment while dealing successfully with changing situations and priorities
  • Standard hours of work will be 9: 30am – 6: 30pm with the flexibility to work extended hours during the week and on weekends as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff
  • Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals

Experience and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Secondary School Degree Preferred
  • Technical Training & Certifications a plus (i.e.: A+, NETWORK +, MCP, MCSE, MOUS)
  • Tier 1 IT Help Desk support experience
  • 3+ years in an office environment preferably in an entertainment or a legal setting
