Based out of our client’ s Home Office in Greenwood Village, CO, the Windows DevOps Engineer position is  responsible for all activities related to system design and administration of all Microsoft systems on premise in restaurants and in the cloud as well as VMware and physical systems and various other applications. The role ensures long term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization. Responsible for the development and maintenance of tools focused on the installation, configuration and integrity of OS level and 3rd  party COTS systems. Implements operating system enhancements and patching that will improve the reliability and performance of the system. Additionally, experience in Active Directory, SQL, all aspects of Office 365, all aspects of Systems Center as well as other Microsoft Enterprise products is desired with specific emphasis on AD, and VMware. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Build, implement, operate and maintain Production Microsoft Environment
  • Develop automated and consistent configuration management and orchestration systems
  • Serve as Level 3 support of all Microsoft, VMWare and physical infrastructure systems
  • Assist with administrative maintenance on the AZURE/O365 tenant services to ensure optimal service response times and proper license and rights allocations
  • Work with various IT teams to support migration of purely on-premise systems to a hybrid on premise/cloud architecture
  • Partner with IT Security engineers to identify and manage security risks, report to management and recommend remediation strategies
  • Participate in and drive capacity planning and services architecture enhancements to ensure accurate and immediate 2nd and 3rd level administrative support
  • Ensure compliance with all IT controls and interpretations of the IT Information Security Director including, but not limited to SOX, PCI and HIPAA
  • Ability to use, troubleshoot and maintain VMWare Infrastructure environment
  • Ability to support data storage environment (SAN) 

Qualifications for the Role:
  • Bachelor' s degree in Computer Related Field preferred
  • 4-7 years of experience in administering O365 and extended products
  • 5-10 years of experience supporting Active Directory
  • Familiarity with multiple orchestration, provisioning and configuration management systems
  • Related Microsoft Certifications preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Expert level skills in PowerShell and PowerCLI required.  Knowledge in other scripting languages preferred
  • Strong working, hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Intune/SCCM and AZURE/O365 core elements: Active Directory, Federation Services, DNS, High Availability and Disaster Recovery Configurations, Mail Flow and Connectors, MS Exchange, Outlook client configuration, PowerShell, SMTP, SSL/TLS
  • Strong working, hands-on knowledge of VMware including remote clusters, PowerCLI, monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Has a solid understanding of ITIL Change & Release and Deployment processes as well as various service and application delivery methodologies
