Associate Manager, Strategic Sourcing
Pay Range: $50-83.33/hour 


The Global Procurement Logistics team drives the procurement of goods and services needed to support our client's global operations. This position plays a critical role by ensuring that the company's products are delivered across all continents in the highest service standards and cost-effective conditions. To accomplish this, the position requires developing and owning high level cross functional interactions with key stakeholders and managing strategic partnerships throughout the globe.

As Procurement Associate Manager, you will have the opportunity to actively support the strategic roadmap execution, analyze and provide visibility on internal and external metrics that drive decision making, support RFP execution, and implement controls that mitigate business and compliance risks. This role will actively drive the procurement of Ocean Freight for the company's Global Logistics accordance with their Global Procurement Policy.  This includes spend analysis, KPI management, contract management, supplier relationship management, global stakeholders management and supporting shipments execution. This person will lead large cross functional teams driving cost, quality, service, technology, and innovation efficiencies through stakeholder engagement using data analytics to present recommendations and solutions.

Key Qualifications and Experience needed for success:

•       Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
•       BA/BS (Business, Finance, and/or Operations/Supply Chain preferred)
•       Proven ability to learn/execute independently
•       Superior analytical, problem solving and financial modeling skills
•       Strong track record in building both internal and external relationships
•       Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with                     employees at all levels
•       Excellent verbal/written skills
•       Strong negotiation skills
•       Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, Word)
•       Experience of working with Business Information Systems - Knowledge and/or experience with Infor Nexus system a plus
