Position: Clinical Information Systems Analyst I
Pay Range: $39 - $45/hour

Summary: The Clinical Information Systems Analyst I will provide operational support for various clinical applications, including lab, radiology, pharmacy, order communications, nursing care, and physician access applications. They will assist in testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of systems to meet customer, regulatory, and IS infrastructure requirements. This role involves systems analysis, problem-solving, test plan development, and comprehensive documentation. Participation in project and change management is required to translate customer requirements into effective system design, focusing on productivity and standardized workflows. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential due to the diverse customer base, including clinical and support staff, management, and physicians. The candidate will also be part of the on-call rotation schedule.

Minimum Education:
  • Associate’s Degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum Experience:
  • At least 12 months of relevant experience.
  • Experience with SurgiNet and SurgiNet Anesthesia required.
  • Healthcare experience, preferably with Cerner.

  5. Assist in implementing and developing assigned clinical applications, providing first-level support to end-users.
  6. Support upgrades and enhancements to existing workflows, conducting necessary testing for implementations, enhancements, or upgrades.
  7. Analyze applications, documenting recommendations for improvement and providing information to department leaders or seasoned analysts.
  8. Investigate problems and errors within applications, working closely with end-users and vendors to rectify issues effectively.
  9. Monitor project progress, track activity, resolve problems, maintain progress reports, and escalate issues to leaders or seasoned analysts as required.
