Configuration Management Specialist IIÂ
Pay Range: $42.93/hour to $55.55/hourÂ
Position Summary
Our client is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist II to support multiple mission-critical programs for the company. This role will be embedded within the Engineering team and is responsible for overseeing configuration and data management (C&DM) processes, facilitating engineering change control, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of contract data deliverables.
Key Responsibilities

Provide full-spectrum configuration and data management (C&DM) support for multiple programs.

Facilitate configuration control board (CCB) meetings and coordinate engineering drawing reviews and sign-offs.

Maintain and control configuration data using tools like Agile and SharePoint.

Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and process Software/Systems Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs).

Track data deliverables, support customer and supplier data reconciliation, and manage transmittals.

Interface with engineering and program management teams to support technical documentation workflows.

Act as the point of contact for CDM process implementation and best practices.

Ensure adherence to contractual data delivery schedules and compliance standards.

This position requires on-site work 5 days a week and may involve travel between local campuses.
Non-Negotiable Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience (advanced degrees may substitute for experience).

Active Top Secret clearance (with ability to obtain TS/SCI).

Strong foundation in Configuration & Data Management (CDM) principles.
Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Agile, SharePoint, and database tools used in technical data management.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Highly organized and comfortable working in fast-paced, technical environments.
