Job Description
Controls Service Technician
Pay $40-57/hr
Summary: The Controls Service Technician will support BAS preventive maintenance, service calls, and warranty calls for projects. Responsible for small BAS projects, tenant finishings, and software upgrades.
Essential Duties:
- Program, commission, and diagnose control systems.
- Experience with Niagara
- Handle limited project management tasks.
- Perform calibration of systems using basic electronic test equipment.
- Schedule and perform service calls and preventive maintenance.
- Communicate with project teams and sub-contractors.
- Complete required paperwork and maintain a productive schedule.
- Mentor fellow technicians in BAS service work.
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain a professional appearance.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or 5-10 years of HVAC/control systems experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Control Integrator/programming experience.
- PC proficiency and valid driver's license.

Physical Demands:
