Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer Pay Rate: $88/hour  About the Role
We are seeking a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer to support the design, development, and enhancement of custom features and system integrations within our D365 F&O environment. This role collaborates closely with internal teams, external development partners, and cross-functional business stakeholders to deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a collaborative environment, contributing to technical design discussions, and building robust customizations that integrate seamlessly with surrounding business systems.
Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with technical leads, functional analysts, and development teams to implement and extend a customized Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environment

  • Design and build custom components including data entities, business events, forms, classes, and other D365 F&O extensibility features

  • Develop and support integrations between D365 F&O and internal or third-party systems using REST APIs, OData, Azure integration services, and related technologies

  • Assist with data migration efforts, including data mapping, transformation logic, validation, and testing

  • Contribute to technical design discussions and follow established coding and architectural standards

  • Produce and maintain technical documentation for solution designs, customizations, code standards, and deployment processes
Qualifications & Competencies

  • 2+ years of professional software development experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred)

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles

  • Experience with version control tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, or similar platforms (preferred)

  • Familiarity with Microsoft development tools, including Visual Studio 2022
Technical Requirements

  • MB-500: Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate certification (preferred or actively pursuing)

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience developing in X++

  • 2+ years of experience building customizations in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

  • Exposure to at least one full-cycle D365 F&O implementation (preferred)

  • Experience with Azure Functions or other serverless technologies (preferred)

  • Experience with the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) is a plus

  • Working knowledge of SQL Server, SSRS, and Lifecycle Services (LCS) is beneficial
