About the Role
A confidential industry leader is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Applications Engineer (iOS & Android) to design, develop, and maintain native mobile applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. This role combines hands-on mobile engineering with collaboration across product, design, and DevOps teams to drive innovation and performance.
You’ll be responsible for implementing clean architectures, managing build and signing processes, integrating APIs and third-party SDKs, and ensuring application quality through automated testing. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-moving environment where your technical expertise will help shape the next generation of mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain native mobile applications using Kotlin and Java(Android), and contribute to iOS development as needed.
- Implement scalable and maintainable architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture).
- Develop and execute automated UI tests using Espresso and XCUITest as part of CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage mobile app builds, signing workflows, provisioning profiles, certificates, and flavor configurations.
- Integrate third-party libraries and SDKs (e.g., Firebase, analytics, location services).
- Work with RESTful APIs, handling authentication, error handling, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, UX, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.
- Integrate dynamic content from CMS platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager) into mobile applications.
- Stay current with platform updates and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience programming in Java/Kotlin for Android.
- 2+ years developing automated tests using XCUITest or Espresso.
- 3+ years managing native mobile app signing, provisioning, and build variants.
- 3+ years integrating third-party source code or libraries.
- 2+ years working with CMS systems (Adobe Experience Manager preferred).
- 3+ years integrating APIs and web services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Skills
- Cross-platform mobile development (Android + iOS).
- Strong understanding of mobile CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Additional Details
- Must reside in Colorado or Georgia (or be willing to relocate).
- Hybrid schedule: 1 day per week onsite.
- Position not eligible for H-1B, TN, F-1, or OPT sponsorship.
