Job Description


Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Act as the secondary and backup point of contact to the Security Manager
  • Engineer Security Solutions and develop processes to improve the company’s security posture
  • Responsible for daily security operations including vulnerability management, asset management, incident response, awareness and outreach programs
  • Coordinate and participate in penetration testing and security audits
  • Work with 3rd party vendors and providers to ensure security posture is maintained
  • Serve on various Group Information Security Committees as the main point of contact representing the company
  • Coach and advise IT teams and business stakeholders on security requirements and effective security controls and processes
  • Working with the IT service teams and business stakeholders to remediate and answer questions regarding security risks and concerns
  • Coach and Mentor more junior security staff
  • Participate in security projects and/or lead security activities in business and technology projects
  • Other duties as assigned
 
Education/Experience
  • 7+ years of experience as a security engineer or senior security operations analyst
  • B.A or B.Sc in Security, IT or related fields
  • Two or more industry-recognized security certificates like Security+, CISSP, CEH, CISM, etc.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
  • Experienced with Splunk, ServiceNow, Office 365, IdaM/GRC/MFA technologies, EPP tools, Qualys or equivalent vulnerability management tools, risk management tools, pen test and assessment tools, firewalls like Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet and Cisco ISE.
  • Experienced in delivering awareness programs and outreach efforts

Salary:  $110K/$145K
