Salary: $121,000 – $158,000 / year

About the Role:
We are seeking a SWIFT Infrastructure Support Engineer to join a high-impact team supporting mission-critical financial messaging infrastructure. In this role, you'll serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for SWIFT technologies, ensuring the security, availability, and performance of internal systems and services. This position is hybrid, based in either Plano, TX or Reston, VA.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as SME for SWIFT infrastructure (Alliance Cloud, Alliance Access, Gateway, Web Platform) and related components such as HSM and Alliance Connect.

Provide support for Linux and Unix-based systems, with a focus on system reliability and performance.

Engineer solutions to migrate on-premise systems to cloud environments.

Support and integrate middleware/messaging technologies such as IBM MQ, SQS, and SNS.

Develop automation and scripting solutions using Python.

Collaborate cross-functionally in an agile team environment.
Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience supporting and engineering SWIFT technologies.

2+ years of experience with Linux/Unix systems.

Strong experience in cloud migration and cloud infrastructure support.

Familiarity with middleware messaging platforms such as IBM MQ, AWS SQS/SNS.

Proficiency in Python programming (preferably object-oriented).

Experience working within agile frameworks.

Working knowledge of tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA.
Preferred Tools & Skills:

Experience with SQL, XML, REST APIs, and Excel.

Strong debugging and coding skills.

Knowledge of automation and monitoring best practices.

Ability to identify and resolve system operating issues efficiently.
