About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Integration Engineer to lead and support the development, improvement, and sustainability of semiconductor manufacturing process flows. In this pivotal role, you’ll work cross-functionally to drive complex projects, new technology development, and technology transfers. You will be at the forefront of advancing our process capabilities, optimizing performance, and reducing cost—all while collaborating with internal teams and interfacing directly with foundry customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or coordinate cross-functional projects to minimize defects, improve process control, reduce rework, and qualify new tools, consumables, and processes.

  • Drive the introduction, qualification, and ramp-up of new process flows for foundry customers.

  • Collaborate with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, R&D, and Operations teams on process development and enhancement efforts.

  • Analyze E-test and yield data, perform failure analysis, and provide actionable feedback to engineers and leadership for continuous improvement.

  • Utilize advanced analytical tools and data-driven methods (SPC, DOE) to resolve wafer fabrication issues.

  • Write and present process capability reports and technical documentation for internal and customer review.

  • Serve as a technical liaison with customers, providing updates, addressing issues, and leading project-related communications at both the engineering and executive level.

  • Participate in or lead efforts to investigate process-related crises, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (8D, FMEA).

  • Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving D0s, reducing scrap, and enhancing device performance.

Qualifications
Required:

  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science.

  • Strong knowledge in one or more of the following semiconductor process areas:

  • Process Integration, Device Physics, Thin Films, Etch, CMP, Photolithography, Diffusion, Implant, E-Test.

  • Experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and DOE (Design of Experiments).

  • Proven ability to analyze technical data and present findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    Preferred:

    • Familiarity with structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
