Job Description

Responsibilities of this position include:

Design, implement, test, deploy and maintain backend software
Develop highly scalable and reliable infrastructure and platforms
Troubleshoot scalability issues and build backend services with security in mind
Lead software development teams by effectively communicating and setting the tone through software development cycles
Implement proof-of-concepts for new features and services
Work with stakeholders to create roadmaps, manage schedules and milestones

Qualifications should include a minimum of:

5+ years of experience developing large scale backend services
Expertise with at least one of object-oriented programming languages like C#, Java or Python, preferably C#
Advanced knowledge of cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience in using Terraform/Cloud Formation for infrastructure automation
Experience leading technical projects with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
Experience with microservices and serverless architecture
Knowledge of software development lifecycles, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
