Lifecycle Email Marketing Specialist

Job Description

They are seeking a Lifecycle Email Marketing Specialist to lead and optimize internal email marketing initiatives, driving engagement and revenue through strategic lifecycle campaigns.
About the Role
The Lifecycle Email Marketing Specialist will own the strategy, execution, and optimization of email campaigns across the customer lifecycle. This individual will leverage marketing automation tools to manage large contact databases, build and refine workflows, and drive performance through data-driven decision-making.
This role requires a self-starter who can independently manage priorities while collaborating closely with leadership, creative teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the management of ongoing email campaigns, including recurring promotional sends and ad-hoc initiatives

Optimize and enhance existing marketing automation workflows to improve engagement and efficiency

Build and refine lifecycle workflows in partnership with marketing leadership

Develop strategic email initiatives to drive engagement and monetize internal contact databases

Implement A/B testing strategies and use performance data to continuously improve KPIs

Maintain segmentation strategies and database hygiene for large-scale contact lists

Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding

Stay current with email marketing trends, compliance regulations, and deliverability best practices
Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in lifecycle or email marketing with a strong focus on automation

Hands-on experience with HubSpot (workflows, automation, segmentation, and list management required)

Experience managing large marketing databases (500k+ contacts preferred)

Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging A/B testing and performance metrics

Knowledge of email compliance regulations, spam laws, and deliverability best practices

Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce is a plus

Background in lead generation–focused organizations is a plus

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
