Job Title: Program Controls Analyst Principal – Planner/Scheduler
Location: Broomfield, CO (Hybrid)
This confidential opportunity as a Program Planner/Scheduler offers a chance to work with a high-tech team developing innovative products in the Aerospace and Defense industry. You will be tasked with creating multi-year plans that drive the production of customer deliverables, while supporting various teams with custom and standard reporting. This position is based in Colorado, requiring regular on-site engagement.
What You’ll Do:
- Review customer contracts, statements of work, and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) to develop a comprehensive schedule plan. Communicate the plan to the program team.
- Collaborate with Control Account Managers (CAM) and Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads to assess resource needs.
- Lead the creation and implementation of program baselines in compliance with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements.
- Ensure CAMs update schedules within the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and incorporate changes following established change management processes.
- Conduct primary and secondary critical path analysis, variance to baseline analysis, and look-ahead reporting.
- Develop, issue, and present all necessary schedule reporting to both customers and management.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret scheduling trends and patterns while maintaining schedule integrity for audits.
- Work with management to prioritize tasks and assist in identifying new process improvement opportunities.
- This is a hybrid role, requiring on-site work three or more days per week.
- Work takes place in office settings, labs, cleanrooms, or production floors.
- Travel and commuting between campuses or other locations may be required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6+ years of experience. Higher degrees can substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may also be considered in lieu of education.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project 2019 or later.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience working on programs within an earned value environment.
- Ability to support the development of program opportunities/risks and provide inputs for risk mitigation strategies.
- Aerospace and Defense industry experience.
- Experience working in a Microsoft Project Server environment.
- Hourly Range: $55/hr - $68/hr
This pay range is based on market structures. Actual salaries will depend on a variety of factors, including candidate qualifications, local market conditions, and internal equity.
