Principal Solution Architect  Salary Range: $180k to $200k Overview
A leading enterprise organization is seeking a Principal Solution Architect to join its Center of Excellence (COE). This role will lead enterprise-wide architecture initiatives focused on SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, and integrated enterprise platforms supporting large-scale digital transformation programs.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in enterprise architecture, business process transformation, systems integration, and cross-functional leadership. This individual will partner closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external implementation partners to design, govern, and optimize scalable enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead architecture, design, and delivery of integrated enterprise solutions across SAP S/4HANA and Salesforce ecosystems
  • Develop and maintain long-term enterprise solution roadmaps aligned with business objectives and scalability goals
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional, technical, and architectural solutions
  • Oversee enterprise integrations and ensure seamless data flow across SAP, Salesforce, middleware, and related applications
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architecture, development, and optimization teams
  • Establish and enforce enterprise architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices
  • Partner with innovation and technology leaders to evaluate emerging technologies and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Support implementation initiatives and ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and supportable
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business units, IT teams, and third-party integration partners
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships to support successful project execution
  • Guide the creation and maintenance of technical documentation including architecture diagrams, solution designs, and operational procedures
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of enterprise architecture experience with significant SAP and Salesforce implementation expertise
  • Proven experience leading large-scale SAP S/4HANA and Salesforce transformation initiatives
  • Strong understanding of enterprise system integration, cloud architecture, and API management
  • Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules including Finance, Supply Chain, and Logistics
  • Strong Salesforce platform expertise including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CPQ
  • Experience with middleware and integration platforms such as SAP BTP, CPI, or MuleSoft
  • SAP and/or Salesforce certifications preferred
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid implementation methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with additional ERP or CRM platforms
  • Exposure to Snowflake, Tableau, AWS, or Azure technologies
  • Knowledge of manufacturing industry business processes and operations
  • Experience working within enterprise Centers of Excellence (COE)
Work Environment & Additional Requirements
  • Preferred location: Atlanta, GA or remote within North America
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed
  • Ability to support onsite meetings and implementation activities
  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours during critical project phases or production support events
  • Successful completion of background screening and applicable employment checks required
