Position Overview: Project Manager, IT Core
Pay Range: $67.00-73.00/hour

As a Project Manager in the IT Core department, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing various projects related to IT infrastructure and foundational services. Your responsibilities will include developing project charters, defining requirements, managing budgets, and ensuring adherence to project management processes and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Initiation:
    • Develop project charters and gather scope, obtaining sign-off from stakeholders.
    • Work closely with technical teams and subject matter experts to define project requirements.

  2. Requirement Management:
    • Translate technical specifications into detailed requirements.
    • Facilitate design discussions and obtain architecture review board approvals.

  3. Project Planning and Budgeting:
    • Develop detailed project organization charts and roles/responsibilities matrices.
    • Create project budgets, manage expenses, and forecast spending regularly.
    • Build project work breakdown structures and schedules.

  4. Project Execution:
    • Manage project risks, issues, decisions, action items, dependencies, and change requests.
    • Maintain up-to-date project documentation in the PMO repository and Service Now.
    • Adhere to PMO defined processes, methodologies, and documentation standards.

  5. Communication and Reporting:
    • Conduct meeting management, communicate project progress, status, and health, including budget management and reporting.
    • Serve as the primary liaison for assigned projects and foster positive relationships with project team members and stakeholders.

  6. Additional Responsibilities:
    • Perform any other Project Manager duties as assigned by the Portfolio Manager or EPMO department.

Required Skills:
  • PMP Certification.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience/knowledge of managing project budgets (Capital and Operational).
  • Experience in at least one PPM tool such as Service Now ITBM, Clarity, or Planview.
  • Experience in a healthcare organization.

Preferred Experience:
  • Scrum Master or Product Owner Certification.
  • ITIL, CISSP certifications preferred.

Pay: Up to $73/hr
