Job Title: Quality Assurance/Validation Specialist (QAVS)
The Quality Assurance/Validation Specialist (QAVS) is responsible for ensuring that all software applications developed or maintained meet all requirements as set forth in the IT Department’s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), validation requirements, change control, and any industry standards or regulatory requirements.
Software refers to any software application, report, or BI tool that is developed or maintained by the Software Engineering team or the IT Operations team. The QAVS’s primary role is to provide support to both Software Engineering and IT Operations to ensure that any changes made and deployed to the production environment meet all internal requirements. The QAVS will operate in a professional business environment, interacting with internal stakeholders as well as external software customer point of contacts, and must be extremely professional, organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to anticipate the needs of the department.
- Four-year college or university degree required.
- Minimum of four (4) years of related experience in Computer Systems Validation, Quality Assurance, Information Technology, or Software preferred.
