Job Description
Job Title: Retail Merchandise Production
Location:Â NYC (preferred) or Santa Monica (hybrid - Mon to Thu, onsite and Fridays remote)
Pay Range:Â $35/hour to $40/hourÂ
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented team member for Retail Merchandise Production with our client, with experience in apparel and accessories. This role supports the execution of merchandise programs across e-commerce and touring channels, ensuring products are developed on time, within budget, and aligned with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of merchandise programs for artist-specific e-commerce and touring campaigns
- Coordinate timelines and production schedules across cross-functional teams
- Assist in negotiating product costs and engineering solutions to meet target margins
- Track pre-production timelines and ensure adherence to product specifications
- Support supplier communication and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Help ensure product quality and integrity throughout the development lifecycle
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in apparel and accessories production or product development
- Experience working across multiple apparel categories (e.g., men’s, juniors, children’s)
- Knowledge of cost negotiation, sourcing, and product engineering
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple timelines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Textile Science, Fashion Design, or related field
- Experience with music merchandise or entertainment-related product development
