OEM Account Manager
Salary Range: $135k to $145k
Overview:
Our client is urgently looking for a Storage OEM Account Manager; he/she will be the owner of the relationship with the customers. The selected candidate for this role will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage customer communications
- Lead customer calls that include cross-functional team members from the company and the customer
- Manage pricing
- Monitor forecast and sales trends and execution
- Ensure business execution per customer unique contract
- Manage customer business topics
- Coordinate launch of new products and new releases
- Manage customer issues (internally and with customers)
- Coordinate and ensure timely closure and resolution of cross-functional topics
- Work collaboratively with internal functions
- Product Management
- Order Management/Supply Chain
- Purchasing
- Quality
- R&D (mechanical, electronic, software and test)
- Production
- Technical Services (repair)
Job Requirements- Collaborative attitude and approach
- Problem solver
- Ability to work with people from different countries and cultures
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- B.S. / B.A. degree
- Technical degree in Engineering or IT preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field
- OEM/large customer management experience desired
- Broad range of related experience desired, especially program management, product management, quality, operations and product development
- Tape automation, data storage and networking experience desired
