Job Description


Position Overview: ServiceNow Solution Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintenance and administration of ITSM system.
  2. Management of 3rd party ServiceNow support roles and responsibilities.
  3. Develop and maintain application dependencies, workflows, integrations, and processes.
  4. Build, test, and apply enhancements and upgrades within Development, Test, and Production environments.
  5. Maintain system documentation, logs, and work instructions.
  6. Develop and administer reporting services and system integrations.
  7. Create, analyze, and distribute reporting, data, and information regarding operational performance.
  8. Research and analyze data to identify improvements or new requirements for business processes.
  9. General support, administration, maintenance, and upgrade of ServiceNow platform and associated applications.
  10. Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications.
  11. Develop systems integrations and process automation.
  12. Contribute to the continual improvement of Delivery Services processes.
  13. Create target state vision through designs, standards, and patterns.
  14. Assess technical debt for criticality and scope.

Required Skills/Qualifications:
  1. Experience with ServiceNow ITSM.
  2. Experience with API integrations (a plus).
  3. Ability to create, breakdown, and improve complicated workflows.
  4. Ability to report and analyze large data sets.
  5. Demonstrated ability to administer and troubleshoot applications/systems.
  6. Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  7. Ability to train users and host department training on systems and applications.
  8. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  9. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  10. Deep understanding of ITIL Framework.
  11. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and customer-centric attitude.
  12. Proven team player and team builder.
  13. Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.

Education/Experience:
  • 5+ years of ServiceNow Development, Design, or Implementation experience.
  • 3+ years of experience administering ITSM Systems, including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge Management, along with CMDB.

Required Certifications:
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.

Rate: $80/hr
