Sr. Data Product ManagerÂ
Location & Work Model: Positions are available in Scottsdale, San Francisco, or New York. We offer a hybrid work model to foster a collaborative environment.
Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.
Role Overview: The Senior Data Product Manager, based in the office of the Chief Data Officer (CDO), will work closely with Data and Analytics teams including Business Intelligence, Engineering, and other technical departments. This role supports enterprise strategies and drives value through prioritization and execution, managing the development of internal data products from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate the vision, roadmap, and technical requirements for data and analytics capabilities.
- Develop and manage the roadmap for a key component of the CDO Organization's data strategy.
- Understand end-user needs, identify product gaps, and generate ideas to enhance adoption and user experience.
- Define requirements for data processing and storage to support analytics, data science, and reporting use cases.
- Set and achieve success metrics to improve business outcomes and accessibility of data.
- Act as a product advocate to build awareness and adoption.
- Ensure compliance with risk management, data governance, and security standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a related field.
- 9+ years of experience in product management, data management, or consulting, with a strong track record in data and analytics product development.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with data teams and stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen with the technical skills to design and explain data strategies.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira).
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Mixpanel).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in STEM or a related field.
- Deep understanding of data and analytics concepts and experience managing product lifecycles.
- Experience with regulated industries and large datasets.
- Knowledge of data management practices in cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with Python or R, and familiarity with data science tools.
- Experience with AWS, Redshift, Salesforce, and various data architecture tools (e.g., HDFS, Kafka).
Physical Requirements:
- Typical office environment; primarily sedentary with extensive computer use.
- Occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Requires visual acuity and dexterity for document preparation and communication.
Salary: AZ- $145,000-165,000/ NY and San Francisco- $165,000-186,000
