Job Title: Program Controls Analyst Senior Principal – Planner/Scheduler

Location: Broomfield, CO. (Hybrid).

This is a unique opportunity to work as a Program Planner/Scheduler with a confidential organization in the Aerospace and Defense industry. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and managing multi-year plans and ensuring that project deliverables meet customer requirements. Your expertise will support the team in developing reports, managing resources, and ensuring that the program's schedule adheres to Earned Value Management (EVM) guidelines.

What You’ll Do:
  • Review customer contracts and requirements to create a comprehensive schedule plan and communicate it to the program team.
  • Collaborate with Control Account Managers (CAM) and Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads to assess resource needs and support project execution.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the program baseline in alignment with EVM requirements.
  • Serve as the scheduling expert for a portfolio of programs, including leading Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) efforts.
  • Analyze schedules and present detailed reports to both customers and management.
  • Facilitate project scheduling discussions and establish milestones for the team.
  • Provide guidance on scheduling best practices and recommend process improvements.
  • Align the programs with strategic objectives in collaboration with the Strategic Business Unit (SBU).
  • Support the Program Management Office to achieve business goals, including risk mitigation and baseline planning.
  • Perform “what-if” analysis to assess funding constraints and potential program impacts.
  • Coordinate proposal work and maintain production schedules within the portfolio.
  • Maintain effective working relationships across various teams and departments.

Working Conditions:
  • This is an on-site role requiring in-person engagement three or more days per week.
  • Work is performed in office environments, labs, cleanrooms, or on production floors.
  • Occasional travel and commute between company locations may be required.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 8 years of relevant experience. A Master’s Degree or Ph.D. can substitute for two years of experience.
  • Experience developing and maintaining schedules on multiple programs using Microsoft Project.
  • 5+ years of experience in an earned value environment.
  • Proficiency in developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and activity dependencies for the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting across all levels of the organization and with customers.
  • Strong understanding of program schedule baseline setup and maintenance, with experience in proposal schedule development.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
  • Aerospace and Defense industry experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project Server environment.

Compensation:
  • Hourly Range: $60/hr - $80/hr
    This range is based on market pay structures, and individual salaries will be determined by factors such as candidate qualifications, local market conditions, and internal equity.
