Technician I – Electronic Product Fabrication and Assembly
Location: Westminster, CO (Onsite, 5 days a week)
Contract Length: 6 months, with potential for extension
Pay Range: $20.84/hr - $26.96/hr
A confidential industry leader is seeking a Technician I to join their Engineering, Science, and Analysis department. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail who thrives in a technical production environment.
Key Requirements:
? High school diploma required
? Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and wire lists
? Experience assembling cabling (wire stripping, crimping, connector installation, soldering, grounding schemes)
? Comfortable working with a variety of hand tools
? Strong communication skills in a technical environment
Nice-to-Have Skills:
? Certifications in Cleanroom, Electrostatic Discharge Protection, J-STD-001 Soldering, IPC-A-620 Cable & Wire Harness Assemblies (or willingness to obtain)
? Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
? Experience with manufacturing processes, test procedures, and basic computer/data entry skills
? Willingness to learn company-specific software tools (Agile, Velocity)
What You’ll Do:

Fabricate and rework non-flight hardware in both production and development environments

Assemble cables, chassis, rack assemblies, and test aids

Identify and troubleshoot hardware problems related to design or workmanship

Perform continuity and certification testing

Ensure work is completed efficiently, accurately, and cost-effectively

Maintain detailed records of test data and report any out-of-tolerance conditions

Collaborate effectively with internal teams to support business objectives

Onsite five days a week with potential travel to company campuses or other locations

Work may take place in an office, lab, production floor, or cleanroom

Use of protective equipment may be required in certain work centers
