They want someone office-based and customer-service oriented who can:
- Be the first line of IT support for attorneys and staff (in person).
- Administer and maintain local hardware, accounts, and network systems.
- Handle A/V setups for meetings, video conferences, and presentations.
- Provision and decommission users, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Own escalations from the help desk and follow through until resolution.
- This person is essentially the go-to technical contact for all things IT within the NY office and will be a blend of desktop support, light system administration, and conference room tech support.

- Windows 11 / Office 365 / Active Directory proficiency.
- NetDocuments or DMS experience (law firm standard).
- Hardware troubleshooting (PCs, printers, peripherals).
- Basic networking knowledge (Internet protocols, VPNs, Wi-Fi).
- MDM (mobile device management) for iPhones and Androids.
- Video conferencing setup (Zoom, Teams, or equivalent).
Soft Skills
- Exceptional communication and customer service — must be polished enough to support partners and executives face-to-face.
- Collaborative personality who works well with remote IT teams and vendors.
- Reliable, calm under pressure, and accountable — can be trusted with urgent issues and after-hours emergencies.
Work Requirements
- Onsite, full-time, Monday–Friday.
- Occasional after-hours/on-call support for escalations.
- Some travel (up to 10%) to other firm offices or local venues.
Ideal Background
- 5+ years of IT support experience in a Microsoft enterprise environment (preferably mid-to-large size).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory with strong hands-on experience.
- Law firm experience or professional services exposure is a strong plus.
In short:
Must be polished, reliable onsite IT professional who can bridge technical know-how with top-tier customer service — someone who thrives supporting high-demand users in a corporate/legal environment and enjoys being the face of IT in the office.
